Equipment Serial Numbers (P17011S) window opens while inquiry on Equipment Master application and Equipment Locations.Steps to replicate the issue:1. Go to P1701 and enter a serial number in Skip To Serial Number field2. Click find. The window P17011S opens and display all the equipment for that serial number3. Select one equipment and go back to P1701. It still displays all the duplicate serial numbers. So, this window is not required as it is time consuming every time we make any changes. 4. If closing P17011S without selecting any equipment, then the error Asset Number Invalid - Input is thrown in P1701. 1. Go to P1704 and enter a serial number in Serial Number field.2. Click find. The window P17011S opens and display the customer for that serial number.3. If one equipment has a different customer, then it should be selected in P17011S in order to appear in P1704 grid.
As you probably know, Excel stores dates and times as serial numbers and it is only a cell's formatting that forces a number to be displayed as a date. For example, 1-Jan-1900 is stored as number 1, 2-Jan-1900 is stored as 2, and 1-Jan-2015 is stored as 42005. For more information on how Excel stores dates and times, please see Excel date format.
When calculating dates in Excel, the result returned by different date functions is often a serial number representing a date. For example, if =TODAY()+7 returns a number like 44286 instead of the date that is 7 days after today, that does not mean the formula is wrong. Simply, the cell format is set to General or Text while it should be Date.
To apply a format other than default, then select the cells with serial numbers and press Ctrl+1 to open the Format Cells dialog. On the Number tab, choose Date, select the desired date format under Type and click OK.
Apart from using specific Excel functions such as VALUE and DATEVALUE, you can perform a simple mathematical operation to force Excel to do a text-to-date conversion for you. The required condition is that an operation should not change the date's value (serial number). Sounds a bit tricky? The following examples will make things easy!
And finally, have a look at the Data preview window and verify if the text strings are split to columns correctly, then click Next.On step 3 of the wizard, make sure all columns in the Data Preview section have the General format. If they don't, click on a column and select General under the Column data format options.Note. Do not choose the Date format for any column because each column contains only one component, so Excel won't be able to understand this is a date.If you don't need some column, click on it and select Do not import column (skip).
What you have just done is tell Excel to add a zero (empty cell) to your text dates. To be able to do this, Excel converts a text string to a number, and since adding a zero does not change the value, you get exactly what you wanted - the date's serial number. As usual, you change a number to the date format by using the Format Cells dialog.
As you see, converting text to date in Excel is far from being a trivial one-click operation. If you are confused by all different use cases and formulas, let me show you a quick and straightforward way.
Hello!Use substring functions to extract the desired parts of the text for the DATE function. We have a more universal and simple solution that will solve the problem in a couple of clicks. I recommend paying attention to the Text to Date tool. It is available as a part of our Ultimate Suite for Excel that you can install in a trial mode and check how it works for free.

Quick Note: If you copy data from a table where you have dynamic serial numbers and then paste those numbers to any other place. The formula which you have used for the numbers will work in the same way.
Method #12 (For Pivot Table Lovers) Hi, To the above method it gives serial correctly when it is a non filtered Pivot, what if I sort my Pivot value field to get my Dr+ and Cr- and there are Zero Pivot results at Value Field. which I need to ignore with manual filter out !, ie. I will apply a filter to Pivot Value Area and Remove my Values with Zero results Manually, such as -0.00,0.00, which will give me absolute list or +/- values, however what I am seeking is to have the series (calculated Field) should apply to only visible cells only, This works when I use Aggregate function outside the Pivot ! seek to maintain the same result at Pivot? any thoughts. Please seek your assistance urgently. Thank you in advance.
I followed your method number 2. But to add to it, it showed 2 in all the rows with a drop down option at the end showing autofill options in which I then clicked on one of the options of fill series. That did the trick.
Need some excell solve 1.search on textbox then show data in listbox According to textbox search value And when clicked on listbox item data come to Textboxes.value i already done it
Wanting to make list that will attach a new serial number to a persons name and building type(portable building bought) if I type it in. Also if I need to search for that person or serial number after it gets assigned will the Excel be able to go back and find it?
I am looking for a way to auto add serial numbers in a column when a new row is inserted at the bottom of a table, but the serial numbers should filter with the records if I run a sort on another column..?
i want to put serial no as below data in automatic (colon A having s/n, B having group data but i need sn in group data wise 1 HS Code 24031100 24031100 24031100 2 HS Code 22 02 99 90 3 HS Code 24031920 24031920 24031920 4 HS Code 24022010
In the 1900 date system, the first day that is supported is January 1, 1900. When you enter a date, the date is converted into a serial number that represents the number of elapsed days starting with 1 for January 1, 1900. For example, if you enter July 5, 1998, Excel converts the date to the serial number 35981.
In the 1904 date system, the first day that is supported is January 1, 1904. When you enter a date, the date is converted into a serial number that represents the number of elapsed days since January 1, 1904, starting with 0 for January 1, 1904. For example, if you enter July 5, 1998, Excel converts the date to the serial number 34519.
Because the two date systems use different starting days, the same date is represented by different serial numbers in each date system. For example, July 5, 1998 can have two different serial numbers, as follows.
The difference between the two date systems is 1,462 days; that is, the serial number of a date in the 1900 Date System is always 1,462 days bigger than the serial number of the same date in the 1904 date system. 1,462 days is equal to four years and one day (including one leap day).
Note In Excel 2007, type the date July 5, 1998 in Book2. Select the cell that contains the date, and then click Copy in the Clipboard group on the Home tab.
Note In Excel 2007, select the cells that contain the shifted dates, click Paste in the Clipboard group on the Home tab, and then click Paste Special.
In the Paste Special dialog box, click to select the Values check box under Paste, and then click to select either of the following check boxes under Operation.

The programmer should work with all AVRs that can be programmed with the AVR ISP (in-system programming) interface, which is also known as in-circuit serial programming (ICSP), serial programming, or serial downloading, but it has not been tested with all devices. We expect it to work with most AVRs in the megaAVR (ATmega) family. It does not work with the megaAVR 0-series of AVRs (e.g. the ATmega4809). This programmer works with some members of the tinyAVR (ATtiny) family, but it does not support the Tiny Programming Interface (TPI), and it does not support the Unified Program and DebugInterface (UPDI). It does not work with the XMEGA family or with 32-bit AVRs. The programmer features upgradable firmware, allowing updates for future devices.
The end of the programmer has a 6-pin serial header with a pinout that is similar to commonly-available FTDI cables and breakout boards. The programmer comes with a 6-pin right-angle female header soldered in. The six pins on this header are: 2ff7e9595c
